See what it's like to be taken to a different world as you visit Zhangjiajie. Visit the Hallelujah Mountains which was the inspiration for James Cameron's Avatar film. Get your adrenaline pumping as you walk on the side of a mountain... on a glass bridge... 4,600ft above sea level!!!
Arrive early and proceed to hotel to rest until breakfast. First stop of the day will be the world’s longest cable car to the top of Tianmen Shan (Heavenly Gate Mountain). From there, get to experience walking on the glass bridge along the mountain and get a clear view of the plunging valley 4,600ft above sea level!
Another thrilling adventure awaits as we cross two mountains of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon on the longest glass bridge in the world. After the half mile walk, the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park where we will ascend the Yuanjiajie, a glass elevator built at the side of the mountain. Upon reaching the summit, we are welcomed by the Hallelujah Mountains, the famous inspiration for James Cameron’s Avatar. Get to see more fantastic views at Tianzi Mountain then we can relax by watching The Love Story of a Woodman & Fairy Fox, a Chinese musical show.
After breakfast, drive towards the Baofeng Lake where you can enjoy some locals singing while taking a boat ride on the lake. After lunch, continue to Huanglong Cave (The Yellow Dragon Cave). The rest of the day will be spent on shopping at a mall in Zhangjiajie, followed by a soothing foot massage for our tired legs.
