Early morning arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest then commence tour of Shiraz, city of roses and nightingales. Sightseeing includes Ali ibn-e Hamze Mausoleum, tomb of Hafez and Saadi, Nasir Ol Molk Mosque (aka Pink Mosque), Eram Garden (UNESCO World Heritage), Karimkhan Citadel and Narenjestan Garden.
Depart for an excursion to ancient Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage) and Naghshe Rostam, a necropolis during the Achaemenid Empire. Via Naghsh-e Rajab on the way back to Shiraz and enjoy a stroll in Vakil Bazaar. Overnight Shiraz.
Leave Shiraz for Isfahan witha stop at another UNESCO World Heritage site, the Pasargadae, first capital of the Achaemenid Empire.
Our full day tour of Isfahan to explore more Persian wonders: the Naqhsh-e Jahan Square (UNESCO World Heritage), Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfullah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Chehel Sotoun Palace, Gheysariyeh Bazaar, Chedel Sotoun (UNESCO World Heritage) the Atashgah Fire Temple and historical bridges. Back to hotel for rest and overnight.
Depart Isfahan. Visit Vank Cathedral in Jolfa and Jameh Mosque the take flight to Tehran. Upon arrival we cross the beautiful Nature (Tabiat) Bridge which connects with Teleghani Nature Park to Abo Atash Park, and enjoy one of the best modern sights of Iran. Overnight Tehran.
Full day sightseeing tour of Tehran, Iran’s capital since Qajar Era. Tehran is sharply divided between North and South. See the Golestan Palace, Archaeological (National) Museum and Glass & Ceramic Museum.
Transfer to the airport for departure to Yerevan. Time to rest before dinner and overnight.
Proceed to various main points of interest in Yerevan: Republic Square, Cascade and Opera House. Drive to Echmiadzin Cathedral, one of the oldest standing churches in Christendom. After lunch visit St. Hripsime Church (UNESCO World Heritage), Garni Temple and the Geghard Monastery.
Excursion tour to Khor Virap Monastery, set against Ararat Mountain, widely accepted in Christianity as the resting place of Noah's Ark. Proceed to Noravank Monastery before heading back to Yerevan.
Check out of hotel then drive to Lake Sevan to visit Sevanavank Monastery and Haghpat Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage). Continue to Armenian-Georgian border for transfer to Tbilisi.
Explore Mtskheta. Visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral where the Robe of Christ is said to be buried. Drive along the Great Silk Road to the town of Gori and see Stalin’s Museum and birthplace. Walk along ancient streets of Uplistsikhe cave town before going back to Tbilisi.
Head to the Ananuri fortress, one of the most attractive sights along the Georgian military highway. Then back to Tbilisi to visit the National Gallery, Rustaveli Avenue, Metekhi Church, Sinagogue, Sioni Church and have a photo stop at the ruins of Fire Temple. Time permitting, have a chance to enjoy a Tbilisi panoramic tour and reach Narikala Fortress by Cable Car, photo stop again at Hamam and visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
