SEP 11 (MON) MANILA / FUKUOKA, JAPAN                                                                                                             

Upon arrival, we will be met by our local guide then stroll along at Tenjin Street, also known as the underground city, before transfer to our hotel for check-in and rest. 

SEP 12 (TUE) FUKUOKA / KARATSU / HIRADO                                                                                                    

After breakfast, we commence our religious journey at Niji No Matsubara Pine Grove. Then we proceed to Hizen Yume Kaido Ninja Village. As soon as we set foot in the checkpoint, we will already see characters from famous Japanese period drama “Mito-Komon” or even a ninja, princess or samurai. We will also be given a chance to become a ninja just for once as we will be entitled for a Ninja Costume change and photo op. Rest and overnight. 

SEP 13 (WED) HIRADO / NAGASAKI

Today We depart to Nagasaki. First stop will be Hirado Castle, built with the intention to be the keystone in coastal defense in the East China Sea Region. Next stop will be St. Francis Xavier Memorial Church, built to honor St. Francis who paved the way to widepsread Christianity in Nagasaki. Then we visit Yamada Church. This simple church adorned with butterfly-wing decorations in its interior is personally hand painted by the priests at the time when Fr. Pelu started to baptize people with the intention of renewing Christianity with its locals and is now believed to be the ancestors of this Yamada Church. Visit the grove of the last martyr on the Island of Ikitsuki, Gaspar Nishi where a huge crucifix has been erected where he was actually executed. If time and weather permits, we will have a chance to stroll along at Chinatown.

SEP 14 (THU) NAGASAKI / BEPPU

First stop today will be the Nagasaki Peace Park which holds a number of monuments from all over the world, including the Peace Monument for the souls of the bomb victims. It also leads to the ground zero of the bomb and the Atomic Bomb Museum. See Clover Garden, and the Oura Cathedral - it is the Holy Door and the oldest church that exists in Japan. If time permits, our last stop will be Urakami Cathedral, a cathedral that is also adorned with butterfly decorations. Check in at hotel and overnight. 

SEP 15 (FRI) BEPPU / YANAGAWA / FUKUOKA 

Visit UMI JIGOKU or the so-called “sea hell”. This hot spring features a pond of unique, coblat bule water, created by the explosion of Mount Tsurumi 300 years ago which gives credit to its name. This hot spring is exisitng in 98 degrees Celsius temperature. This hot water is cooled and being utilized for foot spa. Next stop will be Chinoike Jigoku, the black sheep of these steaming hot springs in Japan. This spring is rich in iron oxide at the base of the pond, which gives the pool a deep reddish color. Then we board for a one way Yanagawa Cruise if weather permits.

SEP 16 (SAT) FUKUOKA / MANILA

Before we fly back to Manila, we should not let it pass without exploring this nice and humble town. First stop will be Yanagibashi Market, one of the most popular fish markets in Fukuoka. Then we proceed to the Canal City and drive pass to the iconic Fukuoka Tower. Then proceed to airport for onward flight back home.
