DAY 01 SEP 8 DEPART MANILA

Meet at airport for our flight to Ulaanbaatar

DAY 02 SEP 9 ULAANBAATAR CITY TOUR

Upon arrival, we proceed for lunch then start our city tour starting with Chinggis Square. See the Parliament House, National Museum of Mongolia and the Gandan Monastery where we see the huge gold plated Buddha - a symbol of Mongolian national pride and cultural revival. Go to Shijiamoni Buddhism Park and Zaisan Hill. The huge monument on the top of the hill was created as a memorial to the soldiers who died in World War II. It also gives one of the best panoramic views in Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 03 SEP 10 ULAANBAATAR - KHOGNO KHAN MOUNTAINS - KHARKHORIN

We commence our Mongolia adventure with a long drive to the Khogno Khan Mountain, a massive series of rocky hills that rise out of an otherwise flat landscape. Sweat a little by hiking to a height of nearly 2000 meters for an incredible view of the grasslands (Optional 2-hump camel ride). Visit the Kharkhorin Museum. We experience our first night in a ger camp.

DAY 04 SEP 11 KHARKHORIN - ULAANBAATAR 

Visit the Erdene-Zuu, a monastery with 108 stupas. This is the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery built in 1586 by the order of Abtai Sain Khan. Explore the ruins of this great Mongolian Capital City. In the evening, we put our hands together for Tumen Ekh - a national ensemble of Mongolian traditional songs and musical instruments, such as Morin Khuur, throat singing and many more.

DAY 05 SEP 12 ULAANBAATAR - 13th CENTURY PARK - TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

Drive to the 13th Century Park. Here you will feel the returning of the age of Mongolian Great Empire. Proceed to the impressive 45m tall Giant Genghis Khaan Statue. Marvel at the Three Friends Cave and Turtle Rock then transfer to the “Gorkhi-Terelj” National Park then have a traditional Mongolian “Horhog” for dinner.

DAY 06 SEP 13 TERELJ NATIONAL PARK - ULAANBAATAR

This morning, we visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum, a series of beautiful traditional buildings, where the last religious King of Mongolia resided. After lunch, drive back to Ulaanbaatar where there will be time to do some shopping at the State Department Store and Cashmere World.

DAY 07 SEP 14 ULAANBAATAR - MONGOLIAN FAMILY - HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we drive to the Mongol Nomadic Tourist Camp where we will see a demonstration of everyday life of traditional Mongolian family and herders in real life. Then, we drive to Hustai National Park where we will see the Takhi, an Asian wild horse (Przevalsky breed).

DAY 08 SEP 15 ULAANBAATAR / MANILA

Spend the rest of the day free until our flight back to Manila.
