DAY 01 AUG 14 MANILA / CAPETOWN
DAY 02 AUG 15 ARRIVE CAPETOWN
Upon arrival, check-in to our hotel for overnight.
DAY 03 AUG 16 CAPETOWN CITY TOUR
Today, we go around Capetown and learn the history of the city. See the colorful houses in Bo Kaap. We then go to Kirstenbosch to see one of the world’s greatest Botanical Gardens. Ride a cableway going up Table Mountain and enjoy the magnificent view (weather permitting). Visit a Diamond Factory to see how these precious gems are formed.
DAY 04 AUG 17 PENINSULA TOUR
After breakfast we depart for Cape Point National Park. With tall cliffs towering around the natural vegetation adds to its rich biodiversity making it the smallest of the world’s 6 floral kingdoms. We also get to visit the famous Cape of Good Hope at the Southern end of the peninsula. See the penguins at Boulders Beach and enjoy an interesting tour at an Ostrich Farm. Interactive drumming session and dinner with entertainment awaits when we get back.
DAY 05 AUG 18 WINELANDS TOUR
We depart early to make our way to Capetown’s countryside to see how their wine is made (with complimentary wine tasting). In the afternoon, we continue our winelands tour by visiting other vineyard towns like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
DAY 06 AUG 19 CAPETOWN / JOHANNESBURG (SUN CITY)
Today, we fly to Johannesburg end spend the night at Sun City Resort where you can spend the rest of the day free to enjoy its facilities.
DAY 07 AUG 20 SUN CITY - PILANESBERG
Our safari adventure starts as we drive to the Pilanesberg Game Lodge. Ride a 4x4 and witness the natural habitat of the safari animals. After a sumptuous dinner, we spend the night in the area.
DAY 08 AUG 21 PILANAESBERG - PRETORIA
Squeeze in one more game drive in the morning before heading to Pretoria. This city serves as the administrative capital of the country. Photo stop at Union Buildings, then to Cambanos in Midrand for some curio shopping.
DAY 09 AUG 22 LESEDI CULTURAL VILLAGE
Drive to Lesedi Cultural Village. Here we learn about South Africa’s tribal history and rich culture. Discover the fascinating cultures and traditions of the people of Africa, visiting five traditional homesteads. Then we go to the Mandela Sanctuary in the afternoon to learn more about the life and works of Nelson Mandela.
DAY 10 AUG 23 JOHANNESBERG / ZIMBABWE
Fly to Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, we check-in and refresh at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River including drinks and snacks. Transfer back to the hotel and enjoy an A La Carte dinner.
DAY 11 AUG 24 VICTORIA FALLS
We start the day with a 2-hr leisure trek to Victoria Falls. Located at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, this natural wonder provides an awe-inspiring experience to anyone views it. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ for the immense spray and incredible noise caused by the rushing water. Victoria Falls is now also known as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world when its width and height are combined. Free time shopping after the tour at the local craft markets. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure for optional activities. For our last night, we are treated to a Boma dinner.
DAY 12 AUG 25 ZIMBABWE / JOHANNESBERG / MANILA
Today we depart back to Johannesburg for our flight back to Manila.
