Upon arrival, we proceed for lunch then start our city tour starting with Chinggis Square and see the Parliament House. Enjoy free shopping time at the State Department Store and Cashmere World where you can purchase authentic cashmere which are made from goat fur. This light material is perfect for cold weather. In the evening, we put our hands together for cultural show - a national ensemble of Mongolian traditional songs and musical instruments, such as Morin Khuur, throat singing and
many more.
We commence our Mongolia adventure with a visit to the Mongol Nomadic Tourist Camp where we will see a demonstration of everyday life of traditional Mongolian family and herders in real life. Witness how they move using ox and carts, taste the different dairy products and listen to their different stories, Visit the King. See the Monument of the Mongol States which symbolizes the three major historical Mongol states and their empires. We experience our first night in a ger camp.
Visit the Erdene-Zuu, a monastery with 108 stupas. This is the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery built in 1586 by the order of Abtai Sain Khan. Explore the ruins of this great Mongolian Capital City. Along the way, we stop at Elsen Tasarkhai, known for its unique sand dunes. Get a chance to walk in this terrain or avail of the optional 2-hump camel ride to take you along the strip while you enjoy the view. We get back to Ulaanbaatar for overnight.
After breakfast we proceed to Bogd Khan Palace Museum, a series of beautiful traditional buildings, where the last religious King of Mongolia resided. Then go to Zaisan Hill. The huge monument on the top of the hill was created as a memorial to the soldiers who died in World War II. It also gives one of the best panoramic views in Ulaanbaatar. In the afternoon, we drive to Terelj National Park and marvel at the Three Friends Cave and Turtle Rock. We have our 2nd night in a different Ger camp and enjoy a traditional Mongolian “Horhog” for dinner
This morning, we drive to see the impressive 45m tall Giant Genghis Khaan Statue. We drive back to Ulaanbaatar and see the Gandan Monastery where the huge gold plated Buddha is situated - a symbol of Mongolian national pride and cultural revival. Last stop will be the Chinggis Khan Museum before we head to the airport for our flight back to Manila.
