Springtime in Japan is from March to May. This is an exciting season with sakura (cherry blossoms), fresh green and plenty of beautiful things to see, as well as delicious seasonal treats.
The Sakura is revered by the Japanese. The brief life of the flowers, blooming only for about a week to ten days, illustrates that nothing in this world is permanent, everything passes away at some point.
Come enjoy springtime in Japan with us! We travel from Tokyo to Osaka visiting major landmarks and entertainment centers and taste different specialties!
Upon arrival, transfer to Shibuya District for some free time.
Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise shopping street where beautiful Japanese handicrafts can be found. From here we can see the Tokyo Skytree. Proceed to Tsukiji Outer Market where one may opt to taste the freshest sushi and fruits. Then drive past the Imperial Palace, National Diet Building & Ginza district. Finally to Ueno Park for sakura viewing, if blossom permits.
Enjoy your day at Tokyo Disneysea then proceed to Odaiba for more free time and dinner.
Transfer to Yokohama. Visit Momotufo Ando instant Ramen Museum and Cup Noodle factory. Continue tour to the highest and most beautiful Volcano in Japan, Mt. Fuji. Drive up to the 5th Station, weather permitting. Tonight, stay in a Ryokan and experience an onsen.
Proceed to Hakone and take a laid back boat cruise on Lake Ashi. Explore the famous Owakudani Valley where on a clear day one can be rewarded with an amazing view of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlet before transfer to our hotel in Toyohashi tonight.
Kyoto considered by many as Japan’s most beautiful city, was the Japanese capital before it was moved to Tokyo. It is home to numerous Buddhist Temples and Shinto Shrines and we visit 2 of the most famous, the Kiyomizudera Temple and Kinkaku-ji or Golden Pavilion. Later in the afternoon take a shinkansen (bullet train) from Kyoto station to Shin- Osaka station.
Enjoy free time in Universal Studios Osaka then proceed to Dotonbori District for dinner.
Pass-by Osaka Castle on the way to airport and get the last glimpse of sakura.
